1. Managed Hosting
Managed hosting is intended for small business brochure-style websites. It includes reasonable setup, connection to your web address, basic checks, and help keeping the site online. It does not include custom application hosting, high-traffic hosting, regulated data hosting, large file storage, or emergency support unless agreed in writing.
2. Uptime
Nomadic Solutions aims to use reliable hosting providers, but does not guarantee 100% uptime. Outages can happen because of third-party providers, DNS issues, registrar issues, internet routing, maintenance, billing issues, abuse, security incidents, or events outside reasonable control.
3. Backups
Backup practices depend on the type of site and hosting plan. Backup checks may be included in some monthly care plans, but backups are not a guarantee against all data loss. You should keep copies of important business content, photos, logos, and records.
4. Website Updates
Monthly update time is limited to the amount included in the plan purchased. Unused time does not roll over. Small text, photo, link, or event updates are usually included. New pages, redesigns, new features, urgent work, copywriting, or troubleshooting outside the plan may be billed separately.
5. Business Email
Mailbox plans include the mailbox count and storage listed for the plan. Standard Care includes up to 3 email forwarding addresses. Active Support includes up to 3 email forwarding addresses or 1 basic mailbox. Additional mailboxes are billed separately.
Email is for normal small-business use. It is not intended for bulk sending, cold email campaigns, large mailing lists, or heavy file storage. Extra storage, migrations, phone setup, Outlook troubleshooting, spam remediation, inbox cleanup, deleted-mail recovery, password recovery beyond a normal admin reset, and user training may be billed separately. Email delivery to every inbox is not guaranteed.
6. Support Hours and Response
Support is handled during reasonable business hours unless a separate agreement says otherwise. Response times are not guaranteed. Priority support may be available as a paid plan. Emergency work, after-hours work, or same-day requests may not be available.
7. Security Incidents
If a website, mailbox, password, domain, or account appears compromised, services may be restricted or suspended while the issue is reviewed. Cleanup, password resets, provider coordination, or recovery work may be billed separately unless covered by a written plan.
8. Domain and DNS Help
You should keep ownership of your web address. Nomadic Solutions may help connect or manage DNS records, but registrar accounts, renewal payments, and domain ownership remain your responsibility unless agreed otherwise in writing.
9. Cancellations
Monthly hosting, email, and update plans may be cancelled before the next billing period. Services may be disabled after cancellation or nonpayment. It is your responsibility to arrange replacement hosting, email, or DNS before cancelling if you want to avoid interruption.
Unpaid invoices for hosting or email may result in service suspension or termination. A suspended website may stop loading, and suspended email accounts may stop sending or receiving mail. Reinstatement may require payment of past-due invoices, a reactivation fee, or a new setup fee, depending on the situation and whether the service data is still available.
10. Handoffs
After invoices are paid, Nomadic Solutions can provide reasonable handoff help such as final static site files, DNS record information, or coordination with a new provider. Rebuilding the website on another platform, migrating mailboxes, troubleshooting a new provider, or extended coordination may be billed separately.
